Module 2 — Spain

Thematic Pillar: Localization & Cultural Context in Teaching

This module trains teaching staff — particularly educators newly arrived from mainland Spain — to understand and apply localization in education. Centred on the Canary Islands, it explores how local geography, history, language, and traditions shape effective, culturally grounded teaching practice.

  • Localization and its role in shaping educational practice
  • Cultural, linguistic, and contextual factors in island identity
  • Practical techniques for localizing educational content
